Facilities and Services

MPAC boasts world class facilities and services that will enable your event or conference to be most memorable.

GERNERAL INFORMATION

  • Auditorium – 1500 seat. Hire options can be modified to suit 500 seats, 1000 seats, 1500 seat events (flat, tiered and gallery seating)
  • Proscenium – master, main, upstage & midstage curtains, and rigging lines
  • Sound System – fully integrated system includes line source array speakers and fold back. Ability for professional recording.
  • Video System – projector images with RGB, VGA and Composite Video signals onto various screen configurations.
  • Rooms Available – Main Auditorium, Cafeteria (level 2), Glasshouse Room (level 4), Bay Room (level 6), Outside Lawn plus lecture rooms, board rooms and workshop facilities.
  • Catering – we can provide in-house catering service

CAR PARKING

  • There is undercover parking available (100 spaces) plus parking within the grounds (500 spaces)
  • Parking people are available upon request

PRODUCTION SERVICES

  • Each venue hire is hired complete with an allocation of equipment included in the rental. If your hire requires specialist equipment, charges will be included in rental costs

BROADCAST AND RECORDING CHARGES

(TV, Film – live or taped, Audio – live or taped)

  • This will incur an extra charge in the rental
  • Video recording, editing and presentation facilities are available

LOADING DOCK

  • Loading dock on level 3 on the eastern side of the building

STAGE AND ORCHESTRA EQUIPMENT

  • Music Stands
  • Orchestra Chairs
  • Conductors lectern
  • Risers

MUSICAL EQUIPMENT

  • MPAC has 3 baby grand pianos available and are available on request
  • All pianos are tuned to A442
  • All requirements for extra instruments are to be directed to the Events Manager
